#1: P0141 - Which Lambda!? Author: SolidRegardless, Posted: Fri Oct 12, 2012 10:46 am ---- Hi,
My Peugeot 206 has been running a little bit off lately, and I have noticed that the car is suffering from worsening fuel efficiency. Also, the poor little Pug has lost some power in acceleration.
The engine light came on today, so I plugged in my little OBD reader and it pulled off the code P0141. Now this rung a bell from my previous car where I had to change the Lambda sensor, but this was a little while ago.
I have three questions:
1) Can a faulty H02S (bank 1 sensor 2) cause:
a) bad fuel economy
b) loss of engine power
2) Can someone provide a nice photo or illustration to show where the Lambda is? I am not sure which one is which!
3) I don't want to fork out £100+ for a sensor, so, how can I replace this at minimal cost. Obviously the sensor will need to be replaced, but where do you recommend I can get one at a reasonable price.
The reason I am being a bit of a cheapskate and not wanting to pay a lot to fix this problem is because I am selling the car.

3) cheap sensor will fail in no time. proper bosch sensor cost about 60-80 quid
