Hi, fitted a Sony Bluetooth HU to my mates 206 today and all was working fine except I had to scrap the steering wheel controls although the HU is control compatible, with the patch lead connected it would only turn on for 2 secs then go off!
Anyways that's not a big problem, the main problem is that the HU doesn't turn off when the ignition is turned off, is this normal? I've fitted 5/6 HU's now and never had this problem, I swapped the red and yellow wires so it keeps its memory fine. The HU has an auto off feature but it takes 1m 8s despite saying it takes 30s and if you open any of the doors after an auto power off it starts up again and takes another 1m 8s to go off?! Can anybody understand why it does this and give me a solution? I did a search but couldn't find anyone with this problem, I've thought about taking the switched 12v into the cig lighter?

Sorry about posting another HU questions because I know there is a lot of silly ones which are already covered

Go get the multiplexed radio ISO harness adaptor from a Peugeot / Citroen main dealer parts department then, it was around £8 ish last time I checked price.

Is it a genuine PSA Peugeot / Citroen multiplexed ISO radio adaptor harness bought from a Peugeot / Citroen main dealer?

Yep, it made no difference, the Sony has its own wiring harness as the plug into the back of the HU isn't standard, but I can't see any problems comparing the pin outs on the HU and the Peugeot pin outs

Do you have a solution for me? The patch lead is the same as the PSA one, the Peugeot dealer said they don't sell them and gave us this part number
