Not the best pic but you can see it slightly.

Haha, have you had your trailing arms/hubs machined for camber?

#9: Re: 206 Sort of a crunching noise from Rear.. Author: Spotfist, Posted: Sat Nov 29, 2014 5:58 pm ---- Hey guys, I noticed the other day that the wheels on my 206 lean in slightly. I didn't really think much of it as I don't hear any banging noises coming from the back. The car is fairly noisy driving over bumps with the parcel shelf moving and the boot rattle but no load bangs or anything like that.
I took a picture to see what you guys think? I can't jack the car up at the moment due to not having a driveway but plan to have a look tomorrow to try and trace a squeaking sound from the front and see if I can get a pic of both wheels.
Here is the pic.

#11: Re: 206 Sort of a crunching noise from Rear.. Author: Spotfist, Posted: Mon Dec 01, 2014 12:47 pm ---- Cheers for that Addaz, I don't have any crunch or bang noise as per the OP. Looking at the photo the wheels don't lean in too much. Do you think it looks bad?
#12: Re: 206 Sort of a crunching noise from Rear.. Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Mon Dec 01, 2014 5:06 pm ---- From your photo, yes. It doesn't look healthy put it that way
I advise you check for play soon
#13: Re: 206 Sort of a crunching noise from Rear.. Author: kandlbarrett, Location: SwindonPosted: Mon Dec 01, 2014 7:41 pm ---- It would be easier if the photo was taken from almost directly behind the car. At that angle it is quite difficult to see the angle.
#14: Re: 206 Sort of a crunching noise from Rear.. Author: Spotfist, Posted: Wed Dec 17, 2014 4:12 pm ---- just an update on mu situation, both wheels lean in a tad only slightly mind. There is however a little play on the right back, which is the wheel shown in the picture and has the most lean. Also turns out that the previous owner hit something as the alloy is damaged. I put on a new tyre today so as to avoid any blow outs it was that bad! Next I plan to try and fix the alloy if possible and then get the axle sorted.

Author: lip_88, Location: wolverhamptonPosted: Thu Dec 18, 2014 2:51 am ---- I had this on a previous 206 my axle wasn't showing signs of failure so I got the bearings when I stripped it apart the shaft was nackered so just ended up using IMAXLES for a refurbed one think there around 200 quid now on an exchange basis they send a courier out to collect your old axle once you've got it swapped over
