#1: tracker insurnace Author: gdon, Location: LondonPosted: Wed Oct 24, 2012 12:13 pm ---- does anyone has or know anyone who had a tracker fitted from insurance to measure speed, acceleration etc. Just wanted to know how accurate it is as I got renewal soon and need a cheap insurance

well definitely not like a d**k, in specific i want to know if I go 35 in 30 zone would it be a big offence to do so on such insurance

Yes my mates misses has one, shes not a very good driver, she's riding the clutch a lot when pulling away, lots of revs and its marking her down for that.

Where I work there was a funny example, there was a kid who was doing doughnuts in a car park, who then knocked into a parked car and said it was due to the weather, they checked the tracker of the box and it just showed all the doughnuts he had been doing in the car park.

But tbf i havnt got the tracker now and i find myself never reli going out past 11pm and 5am in a car.

It's good if you drive carefully, that's the point in it. They will monitor it on a 3 monthly basis and assess your driving to your premium (usually)
