#1: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Thu Oct 25, 2012 6:21 am ---- Hi all, ill start by telling you some of the cars ive had so far, my first was a 1.25 fiesta which i spent far too much money on, but looked lovely
then i got myself a little puma and modded that
here are a few of the puma:
so i found on auto trader this 52 plate 206 hdi. went to view it and fell in love stright away. It is the XSI model which is one of the top specs, it has electrice windows & mirrors, AC, auto lights & auto wipers, MPG counter, oil temp gauge and oil level on start up, steering wheel control for radio. the seats are the same as the gti, apart from they are not leather, but still very supportive!
the mpg is great should get around 650 miles to tank, put £10 of fuel in and came up saying 120 miles
so here are pictures after a quick wash:
it is actually a grey colour but pictures make it look silver, very nice colour in the flesh!
got a few little plans for it, but youll have to wait and see.
and yes it will be getting remaped

#20: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:38 pm ---- Haha yea it was ages ago! What/where do you remember seeing it? Kinda miss it sometimes
I'll let you guys into a little secret, looking at getting a 2nd car once I sell my 106
The rear boot handle was dead easy to change. Take off boot trim then undo the bolts and it'll come off. Give it a good clean when it's off as there will be tons of dirty
#21: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: 206Mike, Location: ManchesterPosted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:41 pm ---- I used to have a pacific green one of the same flavour, barney the dinosaur was like an inspiration to modify my 1.25 til it got smashed up :/
#22: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:44 pm ---- Ahhh! You even remembered the name of it! Haha
Yea I broke it for parts in the end. Sold the whole front end to my mate and we converted his from a mk4 to a mk5 most the parts went on my puma. Which I do miss a lot but got my Frenchy now

Car is now lowered on coilovers,
Suede roof
Boost gauge fitted
Morrette headlights
A b and c pillars sprayed black
Carbon wrapped vents and centre console
Stage 1 remap to 130bhp

Front intercoolee
Uprated clutch
Rear disc beam that's been lowered
#24: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Sat Dec 28, 2013 4:37 am ---- So I lost interest in the 206, found a new hobby, airsoft, and went to uni!
So thought I'll update this as I wanted to start getting the car back up to scratch.
Here are the pictures from march when I fitted 14inch vts wheels in bright pink, comes up red tho! This is just after it was lowered on coilovers
Fitted a boost guage too, just need to tap into my inlet to get a reading
Bought a intercooler setup, just need to fit
Painted standard wheels black, and went to the beach, also fitted morrettes with hids too
Got some carbon fiber and did this
Also got a arm rest but no pictures
#25: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Sat Dec 28, 2013 4:41 am ---- Gave it a wash and polish so here are the results!
Fitted roof bars and roof box when I went camping
Car is now sitting a lot higher as I now live in Scotland and the drive home wasn't comfortable at all! Also I need 2 new wheels bearings, and 2 tyres due to it being low. So I've gone sensible now!
Got a few things coming in the post
Will be taking my intercooler setup up to Scotland to fit along with a slim line fan and a new clutch.
Anyone recommend any clutches?
Cheers

#28: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Mon Jan 13, 2014 2:55 am ---- sadly not yet, as it needs some trimming and work to sit flush.
I may get round to it eventually haha

#33: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Cwbolton, Posted: Wed Jan 29, 2014 7:47 am ---- Looks fantastic, what were the first head and tail lights you swapped out with the chrome bulbs was it? They look awesome!
#34: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: DSWR, Location: SolihullPosted: Wed Jan 29, 2014 9:27 am ---- looks good! original. Like some of the things you've done such as the arm rest and roof!:) bravo!
#35: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Sat Feb 01, 2014 10:24 am ---- Headlights were the Audi style with the led strips in them. A few LED's didn't work so I put morrettes on instead
No idea what the tail lights are but still got them on the car today
I like the arm rest too, saw it come up for sale on here. Not seen another one for sale since.
Proberly one of the best mods I have done! Haha
Update,
Bought some new heater dial nobs that look 110% better and match sp sliders will get a picture of them later
I've also fitted led strips under the doors so when you open the door they light up the floor so you don't stand in any mess
#36: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Mon Feb 03, 2014 5:38 pm ---- upgraded my camera
Thanks for the link, I'll stick them on my watch list!
#40: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: robb, Posted: Tue Feb 04, 2014 6:37 am ---- Good work mate, How did you find fitting the knobs? Mine were hard work to be honest, they were too tight for the original shafts, so took the heater controls apart and sanded the shafts until they pushed on nice and secure. Well worth it though, they look great with my red led controls.
Also was happy to see they had space for the springs and covers so the knobs still click into position
#41: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Tue Feb 04, 2014 7:39 am ---- they fitted fine for me, just wacked them on haha.
I like them a lot, and they match the sp ones which is good
#42: Re: Mada's 206 hdi Author: Mada, Location: Manchester/ AberdeenPosted: Sat Mar 29, 2014 2:43 pm ---- Had a trip out because the weathers nice
