#1: new pics of my 180 these are really gonna divide opinions!!! Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Mon Oct 29, 2012 1:50 pm ---- well its been a fair while since i posted pics of my 180 havnt done any mods and almost sold it but decided on keeping it and freshening it up a bit
i know some people are gonna love this and some are gonna hate it but new mods are as follows:
*gt front bumper
*satin black plastic bumper grille
*black richbrook metal no plate screws
*sp upper grilles removed
*osram nightbreaker plus bulbs
*gt rear bumper with 180 exhaust surround trimmed and fibreglassed on
*janspeed rear box has had pipes cut off and twin 3" pipes welded on (thought the 3.5" ones were a bit too big plus they needed extending anyway so just cut them off and welded new ones on
*bloody good clean up
anyways il let the pictures do the talking
any comments good or bad please be honest i can take it

yeah i really wanted to do something fresh that i hadnt seen on a 180 and they came up at a stupidly cheap price so thought if could get the exhaust trim fitted on the back one too would be really different! just got to try and get hold of a gt undertray now
got a few more unique ideas up my sleeve too only minor things though

haha cheers mate yeah i saw them on your black one and thats what put the idea in my head i knew it would look messy if i just trimmed the bumper for the twin exhaust so was determined to get the 180 trim on too

Front bumper is good, but the Rear bumper on GT I literally detest but each to their own :P. I was recently talking on Saxperience about chopping my Janspeed for a better tip! I want more stock looking tips but possibly peashooter style, who knows if it will happen though ha.

yeah hated the janspeed tips since i got it thought they were nice but just too big and kept knocking on the bumper so much happier with the 3"ones on there

Raz doesn't own the rights to look that way. Plenty of people go for a look/theme it's the GT bumpers that make it different and maybe look like copying, but GT bumpers aren't a new thing I can think of 3 other 180's off the top of my head with them. If we all cried about it we'd all be a right miserable bunch.

lol you read my mind i have been contemplating anthracite wheels and cap for a while just wanted to make sure i was happy with the 180 wheels with the gt bumpers on before i spent the money will be getting them done after xmas along with having the bonnet resprayed to get rid of all the stone chips. loving that photoshop is really good and picked the best pic too cheers mate
agree with your comments mate i admit my car does look similar to razs although i feel they are still very different but tbh i couldnt care less i do mods to my car to please myself only got lots of other plans which dont involve "copying" anyway

I need my bonnet & bumper resprayed chip haven! Good old motorways hasn't helped that they have been resurfacing many of the main roads near me and no matter how I crawl I get clocked by the other side of the road.
Thought that was the best pic to show it too haha

yeah i live in the countryside so its a bloody nightmare trying to keep the paint nice
yeah colour is perfect to what i want too gonna take that pic in and get them to try and get pretty much that colour
