Its pretty bad IMO, I know standard they are only 40 but what can i do to perhaps increase MPG.
Small things i have done are have good tyres on wheels and filled with nitrogen.

All useful suggestions but they will make minimal difference. You're driving a 2litre n/a engine - 40mpg is a book figure and to get anywhere near that, you're doing very well already. You say its pretty bad, but you knew what the car would do before roughly before you bought the car. You can't all of a sudden make it fuel efficient, the engine isn't designed for that.

Dont want it to be too loud lol. However i chose to go down the powerflow route and not janspeed, mainly because i Bought one of them. Looks exactly the same as janspeed. but will it sound it? Have to wait and see.
#19: Re: Iain GTi Author: ARRAN, Location: WiltshirePosted: Wed Jan 09, 2013 8:56 am ---- wish i could get that mpg out of my 1.4 8v, at the moment i'm struggling to get 25.. oops. #24: Re: Iain GTi Author: Tolkienfan001, Location: SpaldingPosted: Tue Apr 16, 2013 5:02 am ---- I know you guys like to keep standard lights. But on that colour car I would want black fog 3rd brake light repeaters led rear and masked fronts??
#25: Re: Iain GTi Author: MattyP, Location: PlymouthPosted: Tue Apr 16, 2013 5:10 am ---- Glad to see you went down the 180 rear bumper and janspeed system mate
needs lowering if not already lowered plus I think you should paint the wheels white and get the clear/red rear lights similar to what I have on my 180 but had on my old moonstone
