#1: GTI oil consumption Author: RMS-GTI, Location: Hemel HempsteadPosted: Fri Nov 02, 2012 4:04 am ---- Sorry if this has been covered, but how much is acceptable? I remember my old GTI using a fair bit but I can't remember how much. I haven't measured this properly but I think I've used about 1 litre in just over 3k.
Car either gets used on the two mile drive to work, or hundreds of miles on the motorway in one go for football.
Any opinions?

I bought 5 litres to do the change. Used 4.5 on the change and used the rest over the year to top it up. Did about 8k in the year.
