Author: the.drewsta82, Location: west bromPosted: Fri Nov 02, 2012 9:22 pm ---- hi, i have a pug 206 gti and its been a project of mine for about 5 years to get it up to a standard i would call mine! but now i fancy a quick shift. dunno where to go for the right parts, or go about fitting it. ive pretty much done everything else to the car i can think of. so any help would be greatly appreciated

If its a 1.6 and above with some oomph behind it than yeah because if you set it up right you can have gear shifts at the flick of a finger like I had on my old XSi.

Just makes it a hell of a lot easier not to have to 'row' in traffic as well as normal use, and to press the clutch for less time when changing gears.
You have to tweak it after fitting a couple times to get it just right.
I would give it 10/10 even though I am an OEM-man normaly.

I've had the housing machined, the collar machined and had to use ss tubing to get it to work right. But, now its all done I wouldnt be without it. Its heavy but precise.
