#1: Injector cleaning,Ultrasound or purge? Author: chuckstar34, Location: London/Worcester/ Grimsby PostPosted: Sun Nov 04, 2012 4:01 pm

Has any one had experience of using a flushing/ Purging cleaner for injectors? I know taking the injectors out and using an Ultrasound unit with a decent fluid will do wonders, but is using as Purging fluid as good a job, or pretty good considering the time saving??

My HDI has some issues that im sure stem from dirty injectors so gonna give them a clean, but is it a huge waste of time purging or perfectly affective? Ive used some Wynns Injector cleaner in the fuel tank and a good does into the filter filter housing has given an improvement on my issues. I think an EGR clean is needed as well, but injectors first...then EGR spray or manual clean after.

Tony
