#1: smoke/steam from under bonnet. Author: gaffa786, Location: 2 Places at oncePosted: Mon Nov 12, 2012 1:23 pm ---- hello again.
on rainy days after i have been driving and the car is warm, i notice that when i am stationary some steam/smoke comes from under the bonnet. its not thick smoke just more like steam.
any ideas to what it could be and the reason why?
the car does not overheat just maximum to 90 degrees and then back down.
during dry days no steam can be seen.
thanks

Like you can only see your breath in the cold but not in the summer. It will happen all year round. Just more noticable over winter.
