Loose fuel filter connector
-> 206 Problems

#1: Loose fuel filter connector Author: Driftall PostPosted: Mon Nov 19, 2012 6:17 am
    ----
After lurking on the forum for a bit, decided after the problems I've had/having it's worth posting.

Just had the car (2000 1.4 Petrol) serviced last week (130k miles) and been driving fine, got back home after a 70 mile drive a few hours ago and just went to start it only to find it wont start and a pool of petrol under the car.

I looked underneath and it seems one of the fuel filter connectors had come off so I pushed it back on and was mainly wondering do they only have a loose clip to keep it on or is there something else I have to do to make sure it's connected properly because it does still feel very loose

Thanks in advance!
