Good shout. Saw your post and took a punt at one for myself.
Bluetooth OBD
I chose the ELM 327 super mini version as I means it can be left plugged in and the panel fitted back.
Did a little look round and opted to the Torque Pro software. Can be seen here..
Review
Bluetoothed it up to my wife's HTC wildfire S and runs real nicely.
Next step is finding the perfect Tablet or maybe Samsung Note mobile to use for longer term use.

Anyway, thanks once again to NayNay1991x for the 206info.co.uk

My mate plugged his £5k snap on computer in and didn't find my DPF issue at the time so i'm guessing that one wouldn't either.

I use this on the Clio.

Shows a few useful gauges and I've also cleared the emissions fault I had repaired but needed deleting

I just got one of these 327 elm interfaces and when plugged into the connector the software says its connected. But the only thing I can get it to display is error codes, and seeing as mine isnt showing a fault light I cant tell if its working or not. Should I be able to see the live data ? My car is a 2002 1.4 HDi.

Thanks

I have owned the torque pro app and adaptor for quite sometime now, great piece of kit, I actually wrote a review about it on the audi forums.

One of the good things is the trackrecorder - here is a vid I recorded (unfortunately on a low quality)

You'll have to check but diesels are a different standard, or were upto a certain year.

Off the top of my head it's 2004 onwards for diesels, although I have connected to a 2001 Y reg diesel using the Elm 327 and Palmer Performance Engineering software.

On a few models you just need to get the protocols set right in the software.
