#1: Brake fluid Author: LiamGTi180, Location: OxfordPosted: Sat Nov 24, 2012 9:51 am ---- I've just replaced brake discs and pads all round on the 180. It has made a great difference (the old ones were f****d) but they still feel a bit spongey. So I am guessing the brake fluid needs changing. I have heard that bleeding the brakes is a ball ache and you need PP to open a valve Anyone know how much Peugeot charge (roughly) to bleed and replace brake fluid?

Ouch that is expensive. Might be cheaper to crash into the back of someone then. Only £50 excess

Did you clean the storage oil of the discs after fitting them on the hubs & before you fitted the pads?

Use PP to bleed it through the ABS? b******s to that, we only do that if we replace the unit to remove the first air bubbles
Otherwise just keep the level up and 12 pumps on each one working from furtherest away from cylinder to closest
