Major car problem...

I've got a Peugeot 206 1.4 hdi. The powers gone, cars really sluggish, smokes a lot, sometimes black smoke sometimes dark grey, takes ages to pick up speed. I need suggestions on what the problem may be, and if its worth getting repaired or not..

got rid of the black smoke by replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor, one problem sorted, but its still lacking power! any ideas?

Head gasket?any mayonaisse present on the dip stik or oil fill cap?

Try unplugging the maf sensor and seeing if it goes any better.

i switched the maf sensor from another car..my car ran the same..
