#1: Pagid Discs and Pads- Euro Car Parts - Confussed?? Author: Tolkienfan001, Location: SpaldingPosted: Mon Nov 26, 2012 7:29 am ---- All,
I am looking at the Pagid Discs and Pads for my 2005 1.4 16v on Euro Car Parts.
Which ones should I get?
There are two discs different prices but look the same to me. Also two different sets of pads again different prices but no real difference?
Any help or advice will be mush apreciated.
Thanks

When I enter my reg, I only get the front and rear options for Pagid pads.
Part numbers might help someone answer the question or just contact ECP and ask them.

Hace a look on service box for your pad specs and see if it helps

You now have the disc size, there is only one set of pads that match up with that set of discs

#9: Re: Pagid Discs and Pads- Euro Car Parts - Confussed?? Author: Tolkienfan001, Location: SpaldingPosted: Mon Nov 26, 2012 10:35 am ---- Can anyone tell me which pads match the vented discs ( which I assume are the right ones) and explain why they match? Thanks.

#11: Re: Pagid Discs and Pads- Euro Car Parts - Confussed?? Author: Tolkienfan001, Location: SpaldingPosted: Mon Nov 26, 2012 1:02 pm ---- I've sent an email to ecp so will see??

#13: Re: Pagid Discs and Pads- Euro Car Parts - Confussed?? Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Tue Nov 27, 2012 9:42 am ---- Generally the wider the disc the thinner the pad ... so with vented discs you probably need the 18mm pads.
BUT ... v9977 is right. You can't just change from solid to vented discs as the calipers will also need to be replaced with a matching set to suit.
And if you want to save even more, try carparts4less which is actually ECP but their internet only site. if you ring them, they will advise you which are the correct discs/pads.
Or look at buypartsby.co.uk ... used them a lot for brake parts and they are very good value and branded parts.

It is crucial to do the above, as different brake systems might be fitted on same engine same year type Peugeots! And then you end up with 0.5mm thicker disks which don't fit in
All the best with your quest!

#22: Re: Pagid Discs and Pads- Euro Car Parts - Confussed?? Author: Sim, Location: West CountryPosted: Fri Nov 30, 2012 7:22 am ---- I bought drop links, wheel hub and bearing, abs sensors, all filters etc.they all fitted fine, buy when brake disk doesn't fit by a fraction, and ordered kit states your make model engine and year, wouldn't fall in an easiest-items-to-buy-correctly category
