#1: paint code KNY Author: dan_manu, Location: Flintshire, North WalesPosted: Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:46 pm ---- im starting to look for KNY paint to spray my GT front bumper from dark chine blue to light tivoli (saphire) blue, im just wondering does anyone know where i can buy it from? and how much it costs?
iv also heard that there are different primers and laquers that go with difference paint colours, is this true? and can anyone recomend me?
i just want to get the best finish possible without spending a bomb!

Looks much darker on the lid than the car is. Sapphire Blue looks nearest but they only do it as a Ford colour. Any ideas. Heres the paint code & colour on the car:
#8: Re: paint code KNY Author: gazza82, Location: South BucksPosted: Sat Feb 29, 2020 12:27 pm ---- I get mine mixed at a local paint suppliers and even thern there were at least 10 different shades on the same blue for my 206 .. all the same paint code .. you really need to take the car to them to match it to one of their paint swatches ..
The first time I get some it was far too dark. Luckily I had the grill parts which meant I could get it matched properly. Even they were surprised at the wide variations ..
