Small part broken off from end of driveshaft where it fits into hub.

Its a approx 2.5-3" ring with teeth all the way round the outer edge. Tucks in behind wheel bearing I think. 1 part of it had fallen out in garage and the rest of it just pulled out. Looks as if it maybe had a seal attached to it when it was new?

Just need to know what its called so can get a replacement. Should there be a cir clip to hold it on?

Good work chaps, that looks like the bit. Will that just tap on to the end of the drive shaft then? Wondering if there is a seal missing from end of shaft as when I pulled it off had a very perished bit of rubber stuck to it?

EDIT: Just seen a Youtube vid, looks like a little heat will sort it!!

Got one coming off Fleabay. Prices vary from £2.50 - £30.00 so went somewhere in the middle for a hardened one. Local Pug dealer hadn't a clue which part i was on about but when they eventually did said part is no longer available, you have to buy it on a replacement drive shaft!! Shocked Ooosh!!
