#1: gti 180 air filters and induction kit?? Author: boardinbob78, Location: LeicesterPosted: Sun Dec 02, 2012 7:44 am ---- Wanna swap the pipercross induction kit on my gti 180 back to the standard unit, are these the same as the units on the 138bhp gti? Looking at picking one up from eBay or a breakers so want to know which I need if any difference?
Also will there be any consequence for a straight swap or will engine continue to run as normal?

The whole lot?
Top half? ie the airbox itself
Bottom half? The ducting and vacuum hoses etc
Best off asking someone breaking one as mentioned

If your interested make me an offer on the lot with the K&N filter thats fitted in it (done 3k miles since fitted).
You can't fit a 138 setup as it's not even close to being correct for the car.
