#1: Starting Up Problem Author: winterlight, Location: King's LynnPosted: Mon Dec 31, 2012 7:46 am ---- Every six weeks or so, for the last 3-4 months, I've had trouble starting up my 206. I turn the key and the engine tries to turn over, but fails. After a couple of key turns it eventually starts up and the issue goes away for several weeks. I had the battery checked a few weeks ago as I thought maybe that was the issue, but it still had 67% charge. Today I had the same issue, but I got the message "ENGINE IMMOBILISER FAULT" come up. Again, the engine started up two attempts later. I'm going to book it into the garage to get this looked at, but just wondered if others had suffered similar issues. It's a 52 reg, by the way. Thanks in advance.
