Yeah I heard if you run a standalone parallel to the original one they can keep the multiplexed shizzle. I'm sure it's not new news but I always remember Jamie's anti-climax thread because Sandy Brown couldn't perform the upgrade without issues.

I dont think Sandy wanted to risk the car not working if he removed half the engine loom. It can be done though. For example what knock on effect does removing the cars control of the throttle have on the ESP system?

I would imagine the ESP would be in constant fault, i think this was one of the reasons Jamie didnt do it.
Not sure but maybe you could write the control of the ETB out but then imagine it still cutting detonation with full throttle still applied.
I think the only available function would be the brakes, by then you might aswell just have it completely disabled
