#1: Radio volume problem Author: WendyJ, Posted: Thu Jan 10, 2013 1:01 pm ---- I've got a 206 53 reg and suddenley the volume on the radio/cd increases all on it's own. I have to fight with it by pressing the volume down button while it's trying to increase until I can get it to a low volume and then quickly switch it off.
This happens whether the engine if running or not but not all the time just randomly!
Thanks

If TA is displayed on the MFD, press the TA button on the radio and turn it off.
I'm fairly sure that you can turn the TA volume down in the settings too.
Mine used to do it until I turned it off. Gives you the shock of your life when it suddenly starts booming at you.

It's meant to change the volume depending on the noise level but it just seems to have a mind of it's own on my car (seems to increase volume when slowing down rather than when i boot it).
