#1: Engine ecu faults Author: Antknee, Location: ManchesterPosted: Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:30 am ---- Bit of advice would be good please, not sure what exactly all these mean
#2: Re: Engine ecu faults Author: Timon2210, Location: PalestinePosted: Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:47 am ---- you need to fix the permanent faults first,as the Intermittent ones can be caused from the first 2,so you have to clean the EGR valve,or replace it,but do the cleaning first.
And the second one,you need to replace the Diesel filter with a OEM one
#3: Re: Engine ecu faults Author: Big_Rich180, Posted: Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:48 am ---- I had the clutch fault on my 180 after the clutch was done, presumably there is a sensor that doesnt get re-connected

#5: Re: Engine ecu faults Author: Antknee, Location: ManchesterPosted: Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:53 am ---- thanks for that, im guessing the first one is just because i have the egr unplugged, i have no idea about the ecu one though?!
If you press ENTER when one of the faults is highlighted (like the top one) it should open up another window which will explain the fault in more detail and sometimes give a guide to the solution.

#9: Re: Engine ecu faults Author: 14hdi, Posted: Fri Jan 11, 2013 1:13 pm ---- Clutch switch fault is not in the engine bay. This is on the pedal to tell the ECU the clutch is depressed. (should be able to see it if you stick your head in the foot well.
