only happens when i turn the wheel a certain distance round.
is there something i can do or do i have to replace? if so how?

My daughters (pre plex "W" reg) was a simple fix by removing the steering surround, removing the indicator, carefully taking apart the switch section of this, cleaning and re-assembling.
Can't recall all the detail of exactly how it all came apart now as it was well over a year ago but the indicator has worked without problem since. If I recall correctly the switch was full of brass filings and taking it apart and re-assembly was easy to do.
