Hi bud is the pedal a lot lower now since the clutch was changed,?
as my girls car is high and just had new clutch fitted,also the cable adjuster had gone so had the cable replaced to,1.4. £170 for clutch fitted and think £80 fitted for cable.cheers olly

New cable was fitted,I'm wondering if just cable was changed as it was not adjusting and could of been causing it to slip? Even tho we paid for both to be changed.
The pedal is the same before the clutch was changed.

Press the pedal to the floor then slip your foot sideways off the pedal so that the pedal flies back towards you - get your leg out of the way because it will hurt if it hits you in the shin. That is sometimes enough to force the autoadjust to do its job.
Only issue with this is that a new cable with a new clutch definitely should NOT need this.
