#1: Door Speaker Wire - Help Wanted Author: dafatkid88, Posted: Fri Jan 18, 2013 4:53 pm ---- Hey guys & gals..
I did take a look through the ICE how to pages first before posting this but couldnt find anything there that would help, either that or im just pure blind! lol
Does anyone know how to run a new speaker wire through into the door without having to drill holes etc.. is there a way of pushing it through the current loom?
Thank you in advance for any helpfull input

It is a bit tight under the dash on the drivers side from inside the carm I cut my arm to shreds putting a wire through. It was easier to get the OH to do it in the end due to her slimmer hands.
Best method I found was to tape a decent sized cable tie to the wire and feed that through. Less chance of it doubling back on itself, and a damn sight easier to manipulate while it's in the grommet between the door and body.

Unfortunately not. I kept catching it on the metalwork behind the dash, and everytime I twisted my hand to try and get a better angle to push the wire through, it cut a little more. The OH also got a couple of cuts from the same place.

It was included as part of my How To guide as a warning.
Why is it though, when your doing a job and you get an extremely tight bolt, do you keep pulling on the spanner even though you know that when the bolt finally cracks, you're going to smash your knuckles on something hard and give yourself some instant pain!
