Can anyone help solve this problem . My wifes car heater would only work when on full then it gave up and died . After searching I found that the resistor switch has blown . I replaced it and it worked for an hour or so then stopped again . . I didn't replace the cabin filter . Could this cause the resistor to over heat or is it something more . ? Any help would be greatful . Thanks george.

try to take the cabin filter out, because if it's blocked it can make the blower motor run with load, which can make it stop so that it don't get burnt.
