Could you link me one off eBay, would be very grateful, I either aren't typing the right thing in or I'm just completely useless haha

Front fog lights are pretty useless anyway, just not worth the hassle.

Be nice if manufacturers stopped fitting the dam things.

You may find the connecting cables tucked away under/behind the headlights ... but that would depend on whether the loom was fitted with them at the factory. Even if you do, you'll probably find you column stalk doesn't have a front fog setting only a rear one!

For later cars (multiplex) you will probably also need the BSI setting up.

PS DON'T be tempted to wire them into the side or headlight circuits as that would make them illegal. You can only use them in poor visibility eg fog, falling snow, etc ... not like some muppets and just 'because it's raining a bit! Rolling Eyes

Could wire them into high beam,, always the best and easiest way!

But completely pointless because fog lights do nothing to help in a situation when high beam is needed!

difference of opinion there! I think they would make a slight bit of difference, and its easier to have people wire them up to high beam than put a full relay circuit in and talk them through it. Sad

Go down a dark country lane and just put your side lights on. Then put your fog lights on and they light up absolutley nothing of any use.
All they light up is a small amount of grass verge 4 metres in front of the car. So for people driving over 30mph they aren't of use at all - despite what they claim.

What He Said

But they do make you look cool cruising round McDonald's carpark Laughing

Front foglamps are bad enough but now on newer stuff the w**ky corning lights are even worse Twisted Evil

Also illegal unless it's foggy!! Don't forget our boys in blue are having budgets cut so where do you think they will look to make up the difference ...
