Hi having problems with 206 1.6 xsi y reg the car starts but has no power does not rev and then stalls also the middle plug into the ecu a couple of. Wires were burned and melted together which we have cut back and rewired but still the same problem any ideas would be much appreciated thanks

Could be a coil pack issue... Mine went the other week, same symptoms, but i had engine management light come on and fault codes etc

Put it on a fault code reader. The burnt wires may have destroyed your ECU when they shorted.

If they has frazzled the ecu would it just not start at all sometimes it starts and runs fine for 5 mins but now it just starts n no power

It depends how badly fried it is. Also is there damage or a failed component elsewhere? If you have had an electrical problem that has melted wires in electrical terms that is a serious fault. You could have damaged oher components.
