#1: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Tue Jan 29, 2013 8:14 pm ---- Hi,
A couple of shots of my beloved CC. Only had it a couple of weeks and began work on it straight away. Any hints or ideas appreciated.

You could colour code your bumpers and rubstrips, that would make the whole thing blend in.
You might want to look at GT bumbers, Ive only seen one CC with GT bumpers and imo it looks really good.
#3: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 7:54 am ---- Thanks for the input. Appreciate it. I was told the rear lights were on the car since new. Was an option at purchase apparently. What lights would you suggest that are different to standard? Any ideas?
Definitely want to colour code, will probably have that done along with a couple of stone chips just before the summer.
How low is the GT bumper? Speed bumps are more popular than cats eyes in this neck of the woods.
Thanks xx

#5: Re: My 206 cc Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 1:49 pm ---- Nice, good colour too
The rear lights were an optional extra yes.
#6: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Wed Jan 30, 2013 3:10 pm ---- Thank you. X
I like the colour too, that's what edged me towards this car in the first place. In all honesty I quite like the arches, but each to their own and all that. but colour coding is definitely on the cards.
Thanks for all the comments, I take everything on board.

#8: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Thu Jan 31, 2013 5:48 pm ---- What do people think of clear angel eyes for the front? And then LED for the rear?

Angels output isn't as good as the current headlights you have if they are genuine morrettes, could swap them for crystal headlights and get bit extra cash from the morrettes, LED rears be nice.
#10: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:13 am ---- Like the rears I think they were on from new as an option. Is there no way of making angel eyes brighter?
#11: Re: My 206 cc Author: kurosagi01, Location: NorthamptonPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:41 am ---- No Angels are just plain terrible in terms of output unless you can get ones made by ultra which are suppose to be better, but not worth it definitely try get yourself crystals over angels or keep your current ones.
#12: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:44 am ---- Ok, thanks. Won't bother with angels then, is rather be safer at night than look good. What's a good price for crystals? And where? Sorry to be a pain?

#14: Re: My 206 cc Author: rttam, Location: devonPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 12:32 pm ---- looks really nice dont see many cc's in that colour. i personally love morettes and have had them on mine as a dealer extra since new dont see what people dislike about them :/ not a fan of the rears though
#15: Re: My 206 cc Author: DJ-, Location: UKPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 12:50 pm ---- Keep them front lights!!
#16: Re: My 206 cc Author: yorkielassy, Location: YorkshirePosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 12:52 pm ---- Here here
#17: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 5:31 pm ---- I think your right, I do really like the front lights, I had a proper stare at the front of the car today and made a decision to keep them but the rears are going. Think LED's in a dark casing would look good.
Again, thanks for the input, it's nice to get different opinions.

#18: Re: My 206 cc Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 5:51 pm ---- Going back over a thread yesterday by Quartz..his 20a fuse had gone..maybe worth a check
#19: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Fri Feb 01, 2013 8:24 pm ---- Will take another look tomorrow morning. The AA guy said he'd checked the fuses though.
Probably worth a check.
Thanks xx
#20: Re: My 206 cc Author: danlouiee, Location: Plymouth, DevonPosted: Sat Feb 02, 2013 2:17 am ---- Haha so did quartz then he double checked and found it! Check them under the bonnet too.
#21: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Sat Feb 02, 2013 3:16 am ---- Do I have to disconnect the battery to check the fuses? I'm aware there's some sort of procedure to do it, is that right?

#24: Re: My 206 cc Author: Xxjuliexx, Posted: Sat Feb 02, 2013 9:46 am ---- Reset the bsi twice, double checked all fuses all fine!!
Called auto elec, he was great but couldn't find the fault, there was no comms with the ecu at all. He also used his machine to check fuses and no issue. He said he'll go home and research it, fair do's he didn't charge a penny for the hour he was here.
