Sorry to blaspheme but i honestly couldnt stand french cars, i thought they were sinful unreliable creatures with no worth what so ever..... in rolls the Pugani (1.4 quicksilver) bought as it was cheap and i needed a ride quick in summer 2011..... 18 months and over £2500 later, this is how it stands today (up for sale if anyone is interested)
Coilovers,decat,twin 3 inch exhaust (loud as hell) panel filter, blacked out rear quarters, black lexus LED rear lights and so on.....
Now, despite the constant mockery from the cruise scene and mates round here,i went out and got a myself a GTi (January 2013) as i've got the bug.
As i got her, completely and utterly "out the factory" standard
And after its first proper clean and polish (p**sed off as i've spotted a few paint problems now, but looking very tidy overall)
Also in January 2013, in goes the K&N filter, JBL 936eGTO 6x9's and a sub that i got myself for the bargain price of £20 for the old car to make use of the Pioneer usb/mp3 headunit. It isn't going to win any SPL competitions but can go from zero to headache in around 15 minutes
Thats it so far,waiting until the warranty expires and old car is sold before i carry on spending or im going to end up pennieless lol

#4: Re: A Pug Diary (pic heavy) Author: Mr-Tigger, Location: EssexPosted: Thu Mar 21, 2013 5:05 am ---- Well, as a few of you may have seen by the posts on here from me, the last 3 months of my pug-life have been a complete misery. nothing but problems with the GTI, numerous trips back to dealer, £400 of my own money spent and it still misfires like a bowl of rice-crispies and 50% the time wont even rev to 2000rpm or pull,finally a week later after involvement of trading standards im sat here waiting for a recovery truck to take it to a garage who,due to ongoing dispute with the dealer,are under strict instruction of what to check in what order and call me after every stage.......
Oh i do love peugeot lol

Also now hooked up second amp (100w RMSx2) for the rear speakers alone
Slowly getting there but in typical peugeot style,its just developed a rear end squeak from up behind quarter panel above wheel so assuming shock/mount problem aaaaargh

Might be rear axle bearings instead. Not nice to fix.

next on the list is new lambda as think its over/underfuelling and a 200cell cat.
Still not sure about a chosen colour scheme when i get the money tho :/ red bonnet vent,nimrods and interior panels (just the removables)? anyone fancy photoshopping it for me in a few shades lol?

Lowered pug next to standard pug. Need to bring out my rears 7mm too as you can see they're tucked away.

they're not amped but do give a much more balanced soundstage and projected sound to stock,definately worth nearly dremelling my finger off

Sub is 550rms CBR Evo2 by vibe, it may be getting changed however will keep the customizable box. On left face will be 100rms amp for 6x9's and on right face 600rms amp for the sub, both in silver of course. Need to trim a few bits,carpet and maybe add a bit of bling
Will be finished and installed next week or so hopefully
