rear wheel bearing. doesnt match.

I have been looking over the net and cant seem to find the correct rear wheel bearing for my 02 1.4 hdi. My bearing has a tapered style yet most seem to be a straight style. Even euro car parts show a straight one for my reg.

Anybody know where I can get a tapered o
one from

we only got 1 type of drum bearing.

The type that fell out of my drum looked like this

All the ones I find for the 206 look like this

Unless mine should look like the bottom and has seperated? It is definately closer to the top link.

you are right. even it is taper bearing it can still have a cylinder shape

The shell is still inside the drum. Ideally it needs pressing out, but a hammer and appropriate sized drift can do the job.

There should be a little circlip which holds the bearing in place just below the hub nut and pressure washer. If it's one of the old style, it's a pig to get out.
