Im after a good French car specialist in the midlands area to fit my clutch in my gti180. any recommendations guys?

lol i see you have alterd your first post bit out of my area mate so sorry no i don't but i'm sure somebody on here will be along soon with a person near you who can do it.

no probs mate tbh its not that bad a job to do just make sure you fit a new input shaft seal/bearing at the same time, also worth changeing the driveshaft seals while your at it.
has your got the dreaded judder ???

You really don't need a French car specialist to fit a clutch on a 180. Any independent garage should be capable of doing what is a straight forward job.

Yes been there a few times when i had my saxo vts and 106 gti.There labour prices are a bit too high for me.

Birchdown is quite well regarded on clio sport and they were pretty reasonable when I had a quote for a cambelt change might be worth asking them for a quote, there near whitchurch

Yes they are good,they did work on my clio 182 few years back,but i thought they were clio specialists only?

They were willing to do the cambelt on my 180 so I recon they would do your clutch
