The code could point to the throttle position sensor being faulty. Is that fitted to the top of the pedal on these?

#5: Re: Runnin but no revs Author: Edward, Location: In the garagePosted: Mon Feb 04, 2013 6:33 am ---- Some have the TPS on the pedal. There is an electrical connection at the top of it. If you don't have the plastic pedal I imagine you have a conventional throttle body. Is it an early XSi?

#10: Re: Runnin but no revs Author: Deano, Posted: Wed Feb 06, 2013 8:12 am ---- What is also the problem mate when he got the car the middle set of wires to the ecu were all melted together but it was running even then then just cut out when we started it again there was this problem with it not revving at all just ticking other so put a code reader on and got throttle position sensor changed that and throttle bodie no diffrence and Code still there but it is sayin circuit a circuit b and circuit c so u thing it could be wiring probably
