#1: Free Vehicle Health Check - Does no-one abuse this?! Author: Addaz, Location: SuffolkPosted: Mon Feb 04, 2013 1:04 pm ---- Seriously why dont people do this?
Peugeot (well atleast mine does) offers a free VHC (vehicle health check) which will most of time cover all top and bottom of your vehicle including tyre pressures
Just decline the work at the end and you know if you have any issues with your car, but dont have to pay. Hell you will even get the free wash and vac (avoid the wash unless you enjoy aqua blades and chammios )
Its a win win for anyone

Nearly every main dealer does, but they dont ideally advertise this because it is free work at the end of the day

Some cheeky people request an oil and filter change plus free VHC which is identical to a service (minus battery check/road test) and costs loads less

£99 for a john grose value service
But tbh i would be cheeky and do it yourself. Get a free VHC then get the filter there and the oil at another supplier
#15: Re: Free Vehicle Health Check - Does no-one abuse this?! Author: Andrew, Location: Black Country Ay IPosted: Mon Feb 04, 2013 3:28 pm ---- I usually do my oil and filters myself
My car is booked in at a garage I deal with tomorrow for new oil, filter, sparks and coolant flush and refill for not much more than that quote I don't get much time to do these things myself recently

Yeah he is a regular customer of mine so I'm no doubt thinking there is a bit of good will involved
PS are you keeping Lucy?
Surely the free VHC makes Peugeot a bit of money as said earlier, but how can they be making much profit from the Just Add Fuel deal?

VHC's do if you agree to the work, but the just add fuel scheme is very different. Technically we arent allowed to report any oil leaks, this has to be customer driven due to warrenty and the Just add fuel scheme peugeot pay for the bare minimum and obviously have anything done at a severly reduced cost.
Unknown as of yet. I hope so but i cant confirm
