Bought new radiator as last one was crushed, but dont have a clue what this extra hole is for. My old radiator did not have this extra hole. Any ideas?????

But it wouldn't be at the top? its not there on my old radiator and there is nothing there to plug into it

Sorry couldn't tell it was the top
Looking on service box you can buy a plug for earlier radiators. Not sure if it's to do with air conditioning or not.

Thanks for that, seems pointless, they put a hole there for us to fill up haha. Thanks for that mate, so i need a compound seal and a plug? could you possibly link me them? i really appreciate you help thanks!
