has anyone got a how to on the above, have a gti 180, has a damaged sump but have a replacement sump. mant thanks Very Happy

Remove the bolts put sealer round and refit bolts. Dosnt even need a how to

You have the replacement, just use that to work out where the bolts pass through. Simple as really.

Undo bolts move bottom engine mount back clean mating surfaces re seal with hi temp gasket sealant and refit bolts wait till dry refill with oil check for leaks job done !

i take it that its worth changing the oil filter whilst down removing the sump??

Wouldn't be a bad idea just in case it's picked up and debris from the old sump.
