Where to buy a comms 2000 unit

#1: Where to buy a comms 2000 unit Author: chris_h, Location: uk PostPosted: Thu Feb 14, 2013 6:51 am

Hi all

I need a new comms 2000 unit as the indicator stalk has vandalised itself over time; indicating left when the wheel returns to the central point and even worse, the indicators sometimes not coming on without fiddling them to make the right connection.

I find it totally unbelievable that such a common fault can't be repaired by changing the stalk, or removing it and repairing the offending area, but hey ho such is life.

Problem is I want to buy a new one, so I looked on euro car parts and there must be about 10 different ones when i enter my reg!

my vehicle is 2003 1.1 sky blue with comfortable seats. One with an audi stick is also required.

Any one know the right unit?

Your audio control will be removed from the old one and installed into the new one. To choose the correct new one just match the features etc.

oki koki just coming back to this topic as i am in the process of ringing around and getting one ordered..however..

What features on my car determines whether it has an on board computer?

Also went on peugeot service box which threw this part number at me; 6239 Q3. This number doesn't cross reference what I am looking at on euro car parts.

The button on the end of the wiper stalk controls the MFD for fuel consumption and other stuff.
The main difference in the ones listed on ECP apart from the computer button are the auto functions (sensor behind the interior mirror) and front fogs. Everything else should be the same.

You can always get the one with the computer button in case you want to upgrade your MFD at a later date.

From that part number you don't have front fogs or the computer
Try 461735310 Check with ECP that it is the right part before ordering though. If you give them the Peugeot part number, they should be able to cross reference it
