hi i've just bought a 206 gti 180 version because they are fairly cheap to buy. plus my brother has one and it looks amazing, though he's pretty clueless.

i had a brief test of the car today but it doesn't seem as quick as the clio sport that i had yet its meant to be very similar? i thought the difference would not really be noticable.

im a crap driver and i don't do 0-60s as it ruins clutches and imo it's just being silly but i did do a midrange 3rd gear pull while testing it today, can someone tell me if it seems right? i want to make sure that it seems to pull as it should as i haven't had a pug before.

i timed 40-70 flat out in third gear = 5.5 seconds

it's completely standard. ive searched google and yahoo before posting this for 40-70mph 3rd gear to compare to see if mine is about right but most threads are from 2001/2 which doesn't help me as the world has moved on since then, so any help would be good.

thanks x

Are you another person that believes the 180 is actually 180bhp?
They generally run somewhere between 160-170bhp.
