Recently picked up a gates 5528XS cam belt
no. of teeth 153 width 25.4mm
question is can this work on my gti 180?
i know the gti 180 belt is 153 teeth 25mm with gates part number 5608XS but thats unavailable here (trinidad)
so again would this work... or any other part numbers that will?

tools needed:
10mm short socket
13mm spanner
4mm allen key
2 pegs around the size of the 4mm allen key
a peg for crankshaft(used a 12mm bolt)
trolley jack
jack stands
17mm for wheels
50torx
16mm
22mm
I know there's a how to somewhere on here but cant find it... if any one wants the step by step let me know while its still fresh in my mind.
*I did this under supervision at a peugeot garage with qualified company trained technicians*
up next is the clutch kit.. if anyone wants the process/steps in detail with pics
