one last question will it co*k up my mph as it basicly gearing it up
going on to the 5dr hatchback

What width 18" wheels are you going for. You may be able to get very close to the same rolling circumference by using very low profile 18" tyres but that will create two issues;-
1) they will be very expensive (worth more than the car.)
2) the ride will be very harsh.)

That will give a 3% bigger circumference so for a speedo reading of 70 you will now be doing 72. However, most speedos read between 5 and 10% fast so your speedo will now just be closer to your real speed.
However a 205 width tyre is very narrow in an 18" diameter wheel and your wheels may be too wide for this tyre.

If they are really wide you won't get the right profile tyre to keep your speedo accurate. If the offset is wrong you may need spacers or the wheels may be unusable.
Different wheels will not affect the engine.
From the questions you are asking you are obviously very new to this and may end up with many more problems than you realise.
I take it that you also realise that quality 18" tyres are about £250 each. you can get cheap nasty tyres for about £90 but I wouldn't put them on one of my cars.

Have you ever bought 18 inch tyres before. You can buy continue sports for 140 a tyre so I think your getting ripped off if you think they cost 250.
