Apparently on the rear beam of my 180 there are 2 struts, 1 either side with bushes on top of them, my bushes have split so need replacing but have no idea which bushes I need to get myself, any ideas?

Struts? They mean dampers or the lateral link bars?

I honestly don't know mate, could be the lateral link bars, my local garage noticed they were split when they were fitting my exhaust system

LOL well i'll be getting the garage to replace them at some point for some uprated bushes if possible, had got told by the guy who fitted my exhaust they were an mot failure but had the car mot'd today by another guy in the same garage who passed it and they weren't an advisory

Will be the sway bars, they fit from the middle of the axle to the bottom of the hub either side.

the nightmare is over, just been to pick the car up after it's mot and was told the bushes were fine, was told that the posture of the rear of the car was to different when all 4 wheels were off the ground making the mechanic think they were split but when only the rear end was in the air they were fine, so now i can put the money towards sorting out a oil and coolant leak Laughing
