#1: help i have no heating Author: minchgti, Posted: Mon Mar 11, 2013 4:05 pm ---- i have just got a gti and got it home and found out i have no heating, i have topped up the water and bleed it. the pipes going in and out of the heater matrix are hot but still no hot air out the vents, any ideas please?

How difficult is it to change the heater matrix? I've done it on a golf Gti before and then was a mission hoping this should be easier.

Today i had a mechanic test the fan, he said there was no power going to it, its possible it could be a relay. Does anyone know if this might be the case or would it be a similar issue and the heater matrix is screwed???
