I will be attending on my local car club stand so keep an eye out for me if you are
Will be on the Swindon Street Cruise stand on the Tarmac area

It's a shame because all the long standing members that attended the shows with 206info are moving on. I know first hand that arranging stuff on here is a nightmare because people put their name down, but then when it comes to needing confirmations/payment at the deadline you end up sending multiple PMs to people (one at a time) who read them and can't be bothered to reply.
So when you are arranging a stand that requires a deposit or a minimum amount of cars for a forum where people can't be bothered, I don't blame the admin for choosing to put their efforts to another club that is thriving.
I do expect that 206info will get some attention from our admin for French Car Show, because we always get a good turnout there. Last year we had a gazebo and bbq, I hope it's just as good this year. We could do with additional admin committed to organising things for 206info. Also a member base that commits to attending shows they say they will, rather than people who moan about the site these days but never take part.

Yeah haha, it didnt exactly fit in! Happily I got a lift down in a Polo, wasnt too keen on taking a 206 to a dub show haha!

Yeah, was a good show - even though it snowed lol. Carparks full of VWs was a sight to behold too!

Yeah, was a good show - even though it snowed lol. Carparks full of VWs was a sight to behold too!
I couldn't believe it when it started snowing haha! Yeah I got a panorama shot of the car park, it was impressive, I had a good laugh at the slammed Rover as well haha!

Nothing to do with positivity, I've been twice and it was s**t.
You don't like my opinion fine, but no one on here attends anything because a lot of this site is now frequented by mongs. The long-standing members on here will know exactly what I mean.

Shame really, I won't be going this year because the car needs a good half a year to get it going and any time or money spent on shows could just be put towards the build.
Next year however I would be wanting to go to a few (FCS, pugfest namely got to agree fast show isn't that great not fond of the 'chav' shows). Was looking forward to being on info's stand, don't really have any ties with any other car club. If there will be stands next year, I will definitely be on it otherwise may have to shove it in the car park
+ The majority of the threads are 'help me fix (insert problem)' or 'does this sticker look good'. Not saying these threads are bad, but certainly drowns out any good threads. It's a nice site with good people still I do enjoy coming on when I can even if it's just offering advice to people, but still not the same as it use to be.
