dealer bought car from is stating timing fault is causing misfire but he isnt completely certain,can tell this when spoke to him,just trying to shirk it as knows belt was done recently by KrisB.
Got a mate going check the timing and adjust it for me if necessary. He said about locking up pulleys and setting it by cyclinder position i think....is this right for this engine,as i know it has a floating pulley and thought they had to be done differently. i need to know as picking car up in morning to get it looked at,and its my last resort before taking dealer for dispute for faulty car throught ymcredit card as hes just being a complete **** about it

With it being a used car you can't expect it to be perfect, but you can expect it to be of a useable standard unless the faults were pointed out to you prior to the sale.
If you paid by credit or finance, contact the company as it's their responsibility to take the issue up with the trader.

If confirm it aint timing leaves only dodgy injector,or knackered ecu :/ according to him they checked both LOL
