#1: Jacking points Author: hellopeople, Posted: Wed Mar 27, 2013 7:16 am ---- I jacked up my car on the jacking points only for it to collapse. Has anyone else had this problem? Would it be easy to sort out?

The jacking points are clearly marked on the lower sill edge.

The Peugeot supplied jack has a recess in it to prevent this. Trolley jacks hold all the weight of the car on a strip of metal a few millimetres wide.
Hammer it straight again if you can and then fabricate something for the top of your trolley jack to stop it happening again.

The sill jacking points are for use with the factory supplied jack ONLY!

I've been using trolley jack on the jacking points for years and not even so much as a click heard ever.
What surface was this on? Tarmac? drive?
