Having some problems with the handling on the 206.
At low speeds it is ok its when at above 50 or more. It tends to want to pull and then switch to the other way pulling.
Normal with no throttle or a small amount to keep speed it pulls to the right the smallest amount(normal) the problem comes when I touch the throttle. As soon as the engine has any load on it e.g. up a hill or accelerating it pulls violently to the left. And will keep pulling left until the load is gone or I let off the throttle.
It was doing this when I first got the car and I changed the wishbone and all was fine for a couple thousand miles. But its started again. I have a quick look and can't feel any major movement on the front wheels like before so I don't think its the wishbones.
Any help please?

Its slightly different to before. When it was the wishbone above 70 it would pull randomly. But this time its more when throttle or under load? Confusing. Thoughts are engine mounts, track rod ends, steering, worn bush but which or something a the rear?

Mine did this, the trailing arm bearing was worn out and made mine pull sometimes
#5: Re: handling problems Author: Ste, Location: Hull -or- The World Of Info CodePosted: Fri Apr 05, 2013 3:29 pm ---- Check your INNER tie/track rod's, not just the ends, the ball joint that connects them to the steering rack tends to go in them if your tracking has been out for some time / or the wheel has had a knock / hit a large pothole - when one goes it does what your explaining, acceleration = pulls one way, ease off and it will either stop pulling OR feel like it's creeping the other way..
Just lift the front end off the ground and grab your tie rod and move it in and out of the car, if there's play you'll feel like a 'knock' feeling from the rod

Drivers side wheel has worn more on the outside and inside rather than the middle.
No movement when at 12 and 6. A small amount of play at 9 and 3. No knocloking on the inner rod tho. The outer track rod end has no movement or twist but the passenger side can rotate it abit.
So plan is get 2 new track rod ends and replace them if that doesn't work try the inners.
If there is anyone near who can help diagnose that would be great

Replaced the inners and the ends on the rack, it made a bit of difference wasn't as bad but went to get it tracked and they said the wishbone has movement in I couldn't believe it after 3 months because I changed it. Oh well
