Went to my scrapyard yesterdays and got some Lexus lights from an 02 ph1. I fitted to my 2004 ph2 206 and they are causing problems like when I turn the car off if I have my foot on the brake the engine continues to run with the key out?!?!?! I'm wondering if its because I have got the wrong model Lexus lights for my car. I want to buy some more so they work if somebody could help

I dont think its anything to do with the lights mate, purely coincidental.

There are known issues with older diesel vehicles continuing to run without a key. Have a search around I think its been covered before.

chances are it is the solenoid. it works from the key and opens the fuelline to the pump or closes it when turning of the key. its not un-common for them to go.

it is fitted to the fuel pump and easy to remove. the real name for it is a fuel stop valve.
