#1: Driving on seized turbo Author: msw_206, Posted: Wed Apr 24, 2013 4:05 am ---- I have a 2002 206 HDi 3-door. Yesterday it started losing power. The only real power is between 1500-2500.
I suspect the turbo is partially/fully seized.
Is it ok to drive like this?
It is fine for commuting the M25 but not good for going up hills.
If I am happy with the reduced power, would a seized turbo cause collateral damage to the engine?
I am still getting 65mpg on my motorway commute.

Previously it had the feeling similar to if their had been no exhaust system (on NA cars) where you have the revs but no power being produced.
I've only had the car a month and done just under 2000 miles so still getting used to it.
