#6: Re: Help Author: DREWDEN, Location: huddersfieldPosted: Sun Apr 28, 2013 4:06 pm ---- Whilst stationary engine running obviosly, turn your lock fully left then fully right, see if there's any grinding and squeeling going on.
#7: Re: Help Author: Rob206, Posted: Sun Apr 28, 2013 4:11 pm ---- It's like a grinding mate and it does it when you go over little bumps down road but really bad when turning
#8: Re: Help Author: DREWDEN, Location: huddersfieldPosted: Sun Apr 28, 2013 5:01 pm ---- I was just eliminating the wheel bearings and other stuff thats all, if you test the steering when stationary and you still get the grinding it would point me to check steering fluid or steering box, if you don't get the noises then somethings making the noise whilst driving.
#9: Re: Help Author: Steve206, Location: UKPosted: Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:20 am ---- More than likely top mount bearings if it happens when stationary.
#10: Re: Help Author: Rob206, Posted: Mon Apr 29, 2013 1:28 am ---- It's like a grinding mate and it does it when you go over little bumps down road but really bad when turning but just checked steering when stationery and it doesn't do it
